Vacancy Overview Highlights
The States of Guernsey are looking for a Learning Support Assistant - Level 2 to join the team at Communication, Interaction and Autism Service (CIAS). Initially this will be supporting learners in Key Stage 1 and 2 but the successful candidate could be required to support learners up to Key Stage 4.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with the teachers to provide directed support, care and supervision to children including those who have Autistic Spectrum Disorders and associated language, interaction, learning and communication difficulties and to maximise opportunities for collaborative working, teaching and learning across key stages and shared professional development across schools.
