Kitchen Porter (Cobo Bay Hotel)

Key Responsibilities

· Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment

· Keep kitchen areas, floors and storage areas clean and tidy

· Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required

· Ensure rubbish and recycling are disposed of correctly

· Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen

· Assist with deliveries and the safe storage of stock

· Keep equipment and work areas organised

· Follow all food safety, health and safety procedures

· Support the kitchen team during busy service periods

· Reliable, punctual and hardworking

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic

· Able to work well as part of a team

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

· Good attention to cleanliness and detail

· Willing to learn and take direction

· Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
