Commis Chef (Cobo Bay Hotel)

Key Responsibilities

· Assist the chefs with daily food preparation and cooking

· Prepare ingredients to the required standards

· Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and food safety

· Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation standards

· Keep kitchen areas, equipment and storage areas clean and organised

· Support the wider kitchen team during busy service periods

· Receive and store deliveries appropriately

· Follow all company health and safety procedures

About You

· A genuine passion for food and cooking

· Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential

· Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills

· Good teamwork and communication skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Reliable, punctual and hardworking

· A positive attitude and professional approach
