Staff Nurse – Fertility

Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to fertility and IVF patients. Assist physicians during fertility consultations and procedures. Prepare patients for IVF and other assisted reproductive procedures. Educate patients regarding fertility treatment plans, medications and follow-up requirements. Assist with administration and monitoring of fertility medications as prescribed. Monitor patients before, during and after procedures. Support patients undergoing oocyte retrieval and embryo transfer procedures. Provide pre- and post-procedure instructions and counseling. Monitor patients for complications and escalate concerns appropriately. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Coordinate appointments, investigations and treatment schedules. Liaise with embryology, laboratory and medical teams to ensure smooth patient care. Maintain infection-control and patient-safety standards. Provide emotional support and professional guidance to patients throughout their fertility journey. Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
