Service & Maintenance Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Service & Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team at our Guernsey branch. In this versatile role, you will work alongside the General Manager to keep our equipment running smoothly, support daily operational needs, and deliver exceptional service to our business clients.

Whilst experience servicing coffee machines and water filtration systems is highly desirable, product training will be provided for the right candidate who possesses a solid technical background and a willingness to learn.

Working hours will typically be around 45 hours a week (includes an unpaid 1-hour lunch break), Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm. Sometimes the role will require flexibility to work with and support the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Service & Repair: Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and fault diagnosis on equipment (primarily coffee and water machines) across our client sites in Guernsey. Callout Response: Respond promptly to customer callouts during standard weekday office hours (Monday to Friday) and manage your time/workload appropriately. The ability to prioritise is essential. Deliveries & Logistics: Handle deliveries of equipment, spare parts, and consumables to clients. Storeroom & Inventory: Assist with managing stock levels, organising the storage area, and keeping inventory accurate and organised. Collaboration: Work alongside the General Manager to coordinate daily schedules, plan servicing/call outs, and ensure smooth operations day-to-day.
