Job Overview We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join a well-established ophthalmology healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have prior scrub nursing experience, preferably within an ophthalmology or eye-care setting.
Candidates with relevant nursing experience who demonstrate strong clinical skills and a willingness to work in an ophthalmology environment are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients before, during, and after procedures. Assist ophthalmic surgeons during surgical procedures as a Scrub Nurse. Prepare and maintain the operating room, surgical instruments, and required equipment. Ensure proper sterilization and infection-control protocols are followed. Assist with patient preparation and positioning prior to procedures. Monitor patients and provide appropriate post-operative nursing care. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and nursing records. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with clinical, safety, and healthcare standards. Provide patients with appropriate pre-operative and post-operative instructions. Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach at all times.
