CLINICAL OFFICER – JOB GROUP ‘K’ - TWO (2 POSTS)

Duties and responsibilities i. Taking history of the patient; 11 ii. Examining, diagnosing and treating patients’ common ailments at an outpatient or inpatient health facility; iii. Guiding and counseling patients, clients and staff on health issues; iv. Organizing health management teams and convening health management committee meetings at level 2 health facilities; v. Referring patients and clients to appropriate health facilities; vi. Assessing, preparing and presenting medico-legal reports; vii. Coaching and mentoring students on attachment; viii. Carrying out surgical procedures as per training and skill; ix. Organizing health management teams and convening health management committee meetings; and x. Collecting and compiling data for research on clinical services issues. xi. Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.
